Silicon Philosophies announces CINEMA CRAFT® HD encoder (Ver. 1.09)

CC-HDe has been optimized to efficiently utilize the processing power and multithreading capabilities of Intel’s Nehalem Processors, doubling previously sustained speeds and revolutionizing H.264/AVC encoding technology.

Silicon Philosophies will present the Cinema Craft HD CC-HDe encoder at the upcoming IBC Exhibition in Amsterdam. This encoder produces "pristine" H.264/AVC files at faster than real-time speeds, drastically reducing the time normally required for HD encoding. Those files are also 100 percent Blu-ray compliant and seamlessly integrate with all professional BD/BD-J authoring applications. The encoder's compression algorithms and filters "are accurate and practically eliminate the need for re-encoding."
